Summer Schedule

The Swedish Evangelical Lutheran Concordia Congregation of Kingsburg began in 1887 in a hall on Simpson Street, then to the Pastor’s home on the corner of Washington & Simpson Street, followed by a brick building in 1888 on the corner of Lincoln and Ellis.  The present site was purchased in 1917 and the church was built the same year.  A Sunday School annex was added in the 1950’s, a fellowship hall in the 1960’s and a new roof was installed in 1991 along with repainting the interior.  In 2005, major renovations of the interior of the Sanctuary was completed, along with audio, visual and lighting improvements.  A new parking lot was installed the same year and in 2007, adjacent property was purchased for future growth.
