Concordia has a rich heritage of musical excellence, enhanced by a
sanctuary with outstanding acoustics.
We are blessed with
the professional musical talents of our organist and pianist, and
our bell choir director, who is also a pianist.
Our choir performs
at the Traditional Service from September through May. Our choir
director is enthusiastic and also teaches music for middle school age children.
She also performs as a solo vocalist for Concordia.
During the summer
in the choir’s absence we enjoy special musical performances each
Sunday.
Early Service
Contemporary worship is led by an experienced worship leader.
Various musicians using a variety of instruments lead the
congregation. Words to songs are projected on the screen.
Concordia has an
excellent sound system and a team of sound technicians are used at
both services.
We have a Six Rank
Moller Pipe Organ that was installed in 1946 and a new Yamaha grand
piano that we received in 2005 through a grant and donation for use in our
Traditional Service. We also have a keyboard, electronic drum set,
and various pieces of sound equipment for our Contemporary Worship
music team.
Concordia is
blessed to have a Bell Choir of volunteer musicians and a musical
director to lead them. The Bell Choir performs around four
times a year for special worship services and occasions.
